You can start this feature with some simple steps.
You have to click on the three dots appearing on the top right side of the WhatsApp app.
A window will open as soon as you click on the dots. At the bottom of this, click on Settings.
By going to the settings, you have to go to the privacy option, which is present just below the profile and account.
Here you have to click on Last seen and online.
On clicking, the option of 'Last Seen' will appear. In this, you can choose between everyone, my contacts, my contacts except and nobody options for 'Who can see my last seen'.
'Who can see when I'm online' will be written at the bottom. Here you can choose either 'Everybody' or 'Same as Last Seen'.
If you select 'Nobody' option in 'Last Seen' and select 'Same as Last seen' in 'Who can see when i'm online', then your online status will be completely hidden. If you select my contacts in 'Last Seen' and select 'Same as last seen' in 'Who can see when i'm online', only your saved contacts will know the online status. Similarly, the rest of the options can be selected.
Step to hide online on whatsApp
1. Click on right side three dot
2. Open Setting.
3. Click on account
4. Open Privacy Setting
5. Now click on last seen and
6. Now you will check - Who can see when I am online option.
Here two option are available

7. Click on same as last seen.
Now body can not see your online status.
